Social Housing

The Social Housing aspect of our business has played an integral part in our growth and business progression over the last few years. It’s seen us develop into one of the leading providers of social housing improvements being responsible for nearly 2000 property upgrades and maintenance services since 2010.

At Adever we work with local authorities and social landlords to provide a positive build experience and a high quality, cost effective end product. Each project and service is unique, not a commodity. We focus on client goals and systems of work, integrating these into our project management delivery to create an enhanced housing environment that reflects our client’s vision and values. We carry out the full spectrum of integrated repair and maintenance services, from the refurbishment of hundreds of homes to reactive quick response repairs keeping customer/resident requirements at the forefront of our work.

Whether its internal or external social housing work we have been responsible for the refurbishment or maintenance of 1000’s of properties working for local authorities such as Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council and Liverpool City Council.

Tennant Involvement

Adever actively promotes a professional interface with tenants and the reciprocal level of tenant involvement to ensure that any concerns are met as they arise, problems pre-empted and tenant preferences sought and accommodated. Involving tenants in how we carry out our service is important to us in order to achieve continuous improvement, Adever remains approachable at all times either on site, by telephone, email or social networks such as Facebook. We use customer feedback forms to constantly monitor our work and aim to continuously improve our service; we encourage the people affected by our work to share their experiences so we can adapt our service delivery maintaining client/customer satisfaction.

Helping the Community

At Adever we understand how work of this nature can affect the community and recognise the importance of hiring local labour and materials, as not only does it reduce the carbon cost of project activity but it also boosts the local economy through the generation of local income.

As well as the employment of local labour on social housing projects we always look to engage with the community on all levels. We visit local schools to speak to the children about working in their homes and stress the importance of road safety. In addition to this, Adever have arranged for the staff rooms to be fitted with a new kitchens and also donated items such as wooden key lock puzzle for the school to be fitted in their ‘Bob the Builder’ outdoor play area, we also set up a donations such as children’s games, books, and toys to local hospice’s.

Colin Roberts, Head teacher at a school said “It was really worthwhile for the children and the visitors to meet and share ideas and feelings. It was very informative, successful and effective venture. Our thanks go out to all who planned and delivered it’’.
